LAST GIRL FIRST!
Prostitution at the intersection of sex, race, & class-based oppressions
Field research in 50 countries found PROSTITUTION most negatively impacts women and girls from minority communities, according to CAP International, which will present its conclusions on April 6 in Washington, DC. In the US, the legacy of racism manifests itself in inter-generational prostitution and a disproportionate impact on Black women and youth. Lived experience experts will reflect on CAP’s findings, with implications for U.S. policy.
