On Thursday, September 29, 2022, join the Black Caucus of the Young Democrats of America, DC Young Democrats, and the Virginia Young Democrats for the ultimate Black professional networking event titled The Black LinkUp. Join an amazing network of Black public servants, political operatives, lobbyists, and advocacy leaders as we connect at this year’s CBCF 51st Annual Legislative Conference.

• Doors open at 7 PM, with special guests speaking throughout the evening.

PARKING

Paid parking is available directly next door at the Howard University hospital lot (2041 Georgia Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001).

HALFSMOKE is a gourmet American restaurant serving a classic American menu of premium dishes, tater tots, mac and cheese balls, funnel cakes, milkshakes, liquor, beer, and wine. The beverage program features a wide array of innovative alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A full bar of alcoholic beverages to include seasonal craft cocktails, boozy milkshakes, 10+ craft beers (with an emphasis on local), as well as wine and mixed drinks on tap. Non-alcoholic beverages to include craft sugar cane soda, house-made seasonal lemonade and teas, and ready-to-drink juices, sparking water, and cold brew coffee, are also available.
